Are there any items that cannot go in a rubbish skip?

Environmental protection and well-being is an important factor for us. We do not supply rubbish skip hire for the waste removal of chemicals, car tyres, car batteries, asbestos, liquids, paints, gas bottles, or food waste. Tree stumps are also not accepted, and mattresses incur extra fees.

Are there any height restriction when filling a bin?

A skip bin should be filled up until the point of safe transportation, which means that the level of rubbish should be at the height of the skip itself. VicRoads regulations are in place to prevent the unsafe transportation of waste and other goods through Melbourne, the Yarra Valley and Victoria. Should your use be in breach of this, our staff will unpack and repack your skip and this will incur additional fees.

How long can skip bin hire be?

For a bin or skip hire the general hire time of waste removal is two to three days for both mini-skip hire and walk in bin hire. When you book a rubbish skip, we will confirm with you both the delivery and collection dates. Longer periods of bin hire are available where requested.

Yes, skip and bin hire is available to all business and homes within our delivery area in Melbourne and the Yarra Valley. This must be a location where drop off and collection of rubbish skips is possible.

Do I have to be home when you deliver my bin?

No, as long as you have adequate signage and clearly direct us as to where the bin has to be placed, we can provide the receptacle without supervision.
