Founded in 1985 and situated in Boronia, our collection service has one of the widest ranges of disposal units in Melbourne.
All solid garbage is collected in containers from the size of normal household rubbish bins through to mini skips and very large dumpsters for industrial use.
Environmentally Conscious Waste Disposal
Environmental impact is of the greatest concern to WM Waste Management Services. Our slogan is ‘we care, so we recycle’, and we have Environment ISO 14001 certification to back it up. As managers of Knox Transfer Station in conjunction with Knox City Council, we are committed to reducing Melbourne’s landfill and disposing of waste with utmost responsibility.
As part of our commitment, there are some kinds of garbage our mini skip and other bin hire services do not cater for. The following items are not collected by WM Waste Management Services:
- Asbestos
- Car tyres
- Car batteries
- Liquids
- Paints
- Gas bottles
- Food waste
We also do not accept tree stumps. Mattresses are deemed extras and their removal is charged as an added expense on top of the original price for hiring a mini skip or other collection service.
One-off or scheduled collection services
If you’re doing some spring cleaning or just cleaning up around your property you may need to simply order a mini skip for a one-off collection. But if you’re running a business with a regular turnover of materials such as paper or even construction waste you may like to consider a regularly scheduled pick up.
